Desktop Sales Office is a tightly integrated suite of sales automation software with word processing, outbound email, calendar and appointments, tasks, and call management.

Sales suite
Desktop Sales Office contains two programs – Desktop Sales Manager and Desktop Word Manager. – that share your sales information. You switch between programs without touching your computer’s Start menu and without losing your place or your data. Switching seamlessly between the two programs keeps each program simple, easy to learn and easy to use.

Sales automation software
Desktop Sales Manager is the program that tracks and manages contacts, deals, appointments, tasks, and your calendar. The homepage features a forecast chart/graph of your sales as well as task, deal, and appointment summaries – everything you need to run your sales day.

Word processing
Desktop Word Manager seamlessly integrates word processing and outbound email with your sales contacts and deals. Create personalized email, documents, and labels for 1 or 1,000. Include images, tables, headers & footers, and more. There is no need to manage mail merge files and formats - your contacts and deals are integrated in the program.

Calendar and appointments
Desktop Sales Manager’s calendar manages your appointments - with links to the related sales deals or contacts. Setting an appointment automatically creates a Journal entry in the linked sales deal or contact.

Tasks and Actions
Desktop Sales Manager also manages tasks linked to sales deals or contacts. Click Action to automatically kick off a call, email, or send-a-document task.

Outbound email
Desktop Sales Office sends individually personalized email to 1 contact or 1,000 contacts. The same rich text editor used in word processing creates email with compelling colors, tables, and images.

Call management
Desktop Sales Manager can track time, duration, and notes for any call you make. It creates an automatic journal entry of the results in any linked contact or sales opportunity.

Upgrades and existing users
Desktop Sales Manager v2006 was conceived as a companion product for users of Outlook and Office. Desktop Sales Office v2007 is conceived as a product that offers a wider range of functions – word processing, outbound email, etc for users who want sales automation, word processing, calendars, tasks, and outbound email in one place.

Desktop Sales Manager v2006 will continue to support Office/Outlook aficionados as Desktop Sales Manager Office & Outlook Edition.

Users of Desktop Sales Manager v2006 can download and use Desktop Sales Office under their existing license with no additional charge. They do not need to un-install or stop using Desktop Sales Manager v2006 – all products can co-exist and share data on the same system. Desktop Sales Office DOES require .NET Framework v2.0 while Desktop Sales Manager Office & Outlook Edition still uses .NET Framework v1.1.
