Template Manager
I am a new user with several questions on using the template manager.
>When I go to edit the "type" in the the first data field of the first group, it has no information - the data type window is blank except for Outlook mapping. Is this correct? If so, doesn't it reduces the benefit of that field (ie. no drop downs, can't assign properties, etc...)?
>If I pick a field location and then want to change it, how does that impact my data? For example, if I use the first data field in group 1 for "opportunity name" but then later want to move it to the third data field in that group. Won't all of my data remain with the first data field? How do I manage this or do I avoid it?
>Can you change the fields positions as they relate to groups? For example, can I move the last data field in group 1 to be part of group 2?
>Does data write to Outlook or does it only read from Outlook?
>What happens if you link to Outlook categories - will it show all categories selected in Outlook or just the first or???
>is it possible to change the row height in the data entry template? For example, if I want to use the address field for something that doesn't require that much space or if I want a field showing competion and this may consist of several competetors and I want to show them in a list.
>what would have been the best way for me to find these answers?
Ready to get up and going...
