Adding a sales quotation or configuration to a sales opportunity

A question from a prospective user: I would like to know if I can setup quotes inside desktop sales manager? If not it means that I have to fill them out in a different program and then a second time in yours.

There is not a way to set up another program - like a quoting program - inside of Desktop Sales Manager.

Some ideas on what can be done:
1) Cut/paste or drag-and-drop quotes into any of the Journals, or...
2) add a link in the sales opportunity that points to the file on your PC that holds the quote, or a link to the URL if your quote/configuration software is web based.
