What are Watched and Unwatched for?
Mon, 2006-10-09 20:18 — rodzilla
From a client: What is the significance of the watched and unwatched function of the software?
The Watched/Unwatched flag came from years of having sales managers who fixated on one or two deals that I was working on - whether they were important deals or not.
So I just wanted a quick way of flagging deals - sort of like putting a push-pin on the deal or writing it on your white board in your office.
Using the category "Watched" or sorting the rows/columns area by "Watched" becomes another easy, quick way to manage your deals. YOu can spot those special deals that need extra attention - you are keeping an eye on the "watched" deals.
