Campaign Manager for Desktop Sales Office 2007

If calling lots of sales prospects is a part of your sales world, then watch for the upcoming free upgrade - Campaign Manager for Desktop Sales Office 2007.

Desktop Sales Office 2007 released.

What’s new?

Desktop Sales Office is a tightly integrated suite of sales automation software with word processing, outbound email, calendar and appointments, tasks, and call management.

Sales suite
Desktop Sales Office contains two programs – Desktop Sales Manager and Desktop Word Manager. – that share your sales information. You switch between programs without touching your computer’s Start menu and without losing your place or your data. Switching seamlessly between the two programs keeps each program simple, easy to learn and easy to use.

Multi user versions and sales team support

Our products support sales teams in a number of ways, depending on the needs and locations of the team.

Basic support
One of the most basic - but highly effective - ways to support sales teams is through Desktop Sales Manager Combine function. Each sales pipeline file holds sales opportunities and each sales opportunitiy has "sales owner" information so the program knows who created or edited a sales opportunity. One of the uses of the Combine function in Desktop Sales Manager is to allow a sales manager to have a consolidated pipeline that contains all the sales opportunities from their sales team. Email or a network are all that is required to support both internal and remote sales reps at this level. As free shared file systems like Goolge's GDRIVE or Microsoft's Live Drive become available the appeal of this approach will continue to grow.

Quickbooks connection?

I've just downloaded the Quickbooks SDK (software development kit). Besides being a nice tool, it looks like we could easily connect to Quickbooks for exchanging customer information and orders.

Any interest? We could use some vocal, patient beta testers....
